Please Note: I recommend attending the Beginners Art Course before you book this one. This will give you a better foundation and insight into materials and concepts. It is not a requirement, but it may help you get the most from the Oil Painting Course.
 
Acrylic Painting Courses 6:30-8:30pm at the Artful Studio, Hanham Road, Kingswood, Bristol, are for anyone who wants to learn more about art and creativity in a fun, new, refreshing way.

Perfect for those just starting out and wanting to find their feet in the art world, as an introduction to a university course, or for those wanting a fresh perspective on their own creativity. I let my students work at their own pace, and encourage individuality and freedom of expression, while providing a way to gain more confidence in personal achievements.

Over the 4 week course, you will be taken through the steps of the creation of up to two A4 sized acrylic paintings:
 
A still life, realism piece.
A landscape or portrait painting.
 
Each 2 hour session will include talks on ​colour theory, materials, composition, impressionist techniques, working with light, exhibiting your work, working from memory and imagination, and much more...

4 workshops: 2 hours per week.
Access to all materials needed for the course.
Online students' area with resources, group discussions and a course gallery for artwork sharing.
