4 Hour Oil Painting Workshop
 
This workshop will guide you through creating your own 40x30cm oil painting with water washable oil paints*
 
Suitable from complete beginners to more advanced artists you will be introduced to oil materials, colour theory, working with colour palettes, impressionist techniques, plein air (outdoor) painting and much more through large screen presentations and example works.
 
You can work from a selection of supplied reference photos or bring in your own photograph to work from.
 
All materials and paints are supplied, along with hot & cold drinks and biscuits.
 
At the end of the workshop a pdf guide will be sent to accompany the workshop, together with photos of your completed works.
 
The classes are small and friendly, with up to 8 students per class so that every one gets individual attention and guidance. They are held in a quiet, dedicated studio space with wash up and toilet facilities.
 
* Water washable oil paints behave just like normal oils but can be washed up easily and do not have as many chemicals in as regular oil paints, so they smell much less and are safer for use and better for the environment.
